Machakos Governor Dr.  Alfred Mutua has taken issue with the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) for enumerating tribes of individuals indicted on corruption charges.

Addressing a press conference at his party offices in Nairobi Thursday, Mutua said it was a shame for the DPP to categorise the suspects on tribal lines yet they did not steal on behalf of their communities but their own selfish interest.

Mutua who is also the Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader added that it was also premature for Deputy President William Ruto to make statements on corruption cases that were still under investigators in reference to the ongoing dam scandal.
