The 4th edition of Nairobi Tech Week (NTW2019) is set to take place on April 24th to 26th, 2019 at Strathmore University with GIZ as this year’s Title Sponsor.
This year’s theme is, “Technology in Africa: The Past, The Present and The Future” and will delve into the evolution of technology in Africa, the various solutions being applied in the African context and the exciting opportunities yet to be capitalized on as we navigate the digital revolution.
NTW is Sub-Saharan Africa’s largest annual technology event for product makers – bringing various actors and influencers within the tech ecosystem to one space to exhibit the forefront of innovation and technology. Powered by Moringa School, NTW will take place over 3 days and bring together over 1500 members of the technology ecosystem to exhibit the forefront of innovation.
This year’s NTW event is even bigger and will include 3 days of hands-on workshops, panels, roundtables, research presentation sessions and a 2-day hackathon with a focus on the people who build and run technology products. Technologies to be covered under this year’s theme include: Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Platforms, Internet of Things (IoT), Microservices, Technopreneurship, Data Science, and Product Development Tools.
