The National Assembly will hold Special Sittings Wednesday, 28th April 2021 and Thursday, 29th April 2021.
Both sittings will be held in the Morning and in the Afternoon.
The August house is set to consider the report on Vetting of Nominees for the Chairperson and Members of the Teachers Service Commission.
The House will also consider the report on Vetting of Nominee for Principal Secretary for Curriculum Reforms as well as the Public Petition on the Removal of Ms. Tabitha Mutemi from the Media Council of Kenya membership.
The National Assembly will also consider the Senate Amendments to the Division of Revenue Bill 2021, and the Second Reading of the Committee of the Whole House (CoWH), Third Reading of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) Bill.
Members of Parliament have been directed that occupancy of the 112 seats in the Chamber is on First-Come basis in order to adhere to the Ministry of Health guidelines on Covid-19, that include observing social distancing, washing of hands with water and soap and wearing of masks when in public.
