President William Ruto is
on Sunday expected to attend an interdenominational prayer in Narok County at
the William Ole Ntimama Stadium.
The president’s visit has elated the Maa Council of elders who have now vowed to work with the government of the day.
Speaking ahead of the prayer meeting council chairman Kelena Ole Nchoe also asked opposition leader Raila Odinga to give the Government time to deliver on its agenda.
The Elders led by Council's national Chairman Kelena ole Nchoe said the Maa community is now fully behind the government.
The elders asked Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition leader Raila Odinga to let the government deliver on its mandate.
According to the elders, the Maa community cannot be in opposition nor will they participate in activities that will disturb peace.
