DAP leader Eugene Wamalwa now says the Azimio Rally slated for Sunday at Jacaranda Grounds Nairobi will be a peacefully consultation with Azimio supporters and not a demonstration as claimed by its political opponents.

Wamalwa said the consultations will move to other parts of the country as the opposition seeks views from Kenyans on how well to address problems facing the country.

He spoke at the burial ceremony of Prof. Alex Nyabera Magoha the younger brother to the late former Education CS Prof. George Magoha in Siaya.

The DAP party leader used the platform to also set the record straight on the planned Azimio One Kenya Coalition rally slated for Sunday at jacaranda grounds in Nairobi.

Wamalwa insisted that the planned consultations with their supporters would go on peacefully and told-off their political opponents to stop fanning fear.

He said the Jacaranda meeting is in a series of consultations planned across the country as they seek consensus on solutions to problems facing Kenyans.

During the burial, the former Defence Cabinet Secretary read the condolence message of former President Uhuru Kenyatta who promised to stand with the family during the trying moments.

Prof. Nyabera was eulogized as a loving brother husband and father.

Fformer Education Cabinet Secretary Prof. George Magoha who passed away on Tuesday will be buried on February 11th.
