Azimio One Kenya Party Leader Raila Odinga on Sunday sustained his criticism of President William Ruto’s government disputing his presidential election victory.
Speaking at Jacaranda grounds in Nairobi, Odinga on his second anti-Government rally at Jacaranda Grounds in Nairobi vowed to hold anti-government rallies in all regions of the country to discredit the Kenya kwanza administration.
Raila dismissed reports that the Directorate of Criminal Investigation intended to grill him over his claims of election rigging urging the DCI to instead direct their queries to immediate former IEBC chairperson Wafula chebukati.
The Azimio leader also opposed the proposed taxation measures as well as the government's plan to initiate recruitment of new IEBC Commissioners and privatize parastatals without going through parliament.
Other Azimio One Kenya Alliance leaders rallied their supporters to back Raila's call for peaceful demonstration,
The Azimio brigade is expected to hold a rally next Sunday in Kibera before venturing outside the capital city.
