The Kenya Urban Roads Authority has announced a traffic disruption that will affect motorists plying the Eastern Bypass.
In a statement, KURA said that there would be a disruption from 6 am Monday 6th February till Wednesday 8th.
“This is to allow the contractor to lay the final surface dressing at the section between Administration Police Training College and Benedicta Junction (Lexo Petrol Station),” read the statement in part.
Motorists are advised by the Authority to use either Outer Ring Road or Kangundo Road as alternative routes to minimize traffic at the Utawala-Benedicta Junction section.
In addition, KURA is urging motorists to drive with caution as they approach the section.
However, traffic marshals and police will be on-site to guide motorists so as to enable a smooth flow of traffic.
“Kindly bear with the situation as we endeavour to enhance urban mobility,” the statement concluded.
