First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto has urged the youth who are Kenya's greatest resource to be champions of community transformation.

Mama Rachel Ruto was speaking during the dedication service of the Good News Mission Refurbished Hall in Kasarani, Nairobi.

During the sermon, the founder of the Good News Mission, Rev. Ock Soo Park implored congregants to transcend their limited perspectives and instead adopt the transformative mindset of Jesus, as the man healed at the pool of Bethesda in the book of John 5:1–5.

The Good News Mission has been in Kenya for the last 29 years, impacting young people through, skill development, and mindset training.

The Good News Mission and Mama Rachel’s office have collaborated on a number of initiatives, including fostering a positive mindset among young people, who are valuable resources for our nation's growth and development.
