Njagi retains Kiambu Golf club chairmanship

Fred Njagi has retained his position as Kiambu Golf club chairman after he was re-elected on Monday.

Njagi garnered 213 votes to beat his rival Eddy Njoroge who garnered 83 votes.

The elections were conducted yesterday during  an Annual General meeting organized by members of Kiambu Golf Club.

Fred Njagi who was re-elected for the second time was battling with Eddy Njoroge for the club’s chairmanship.

He was declared the winner with 213 votes.

In the lady captain position, Margaret Mwai was declared winner after garnering 224 votes out of 296 casted votes while her rival Rachael Gatabaki garnered 71 votes.

Njagi will lead the club until the end of 2017 as the golf club holds its elections on an annual basis.
