Nzioka Waita appointed Deputy Head of Civil Service


President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed, Nzioka Siwadie Waita as the Deputy Chief of Staff with immediate effect, within the Executive Office of the President.

In this role Mr. Waita shall deputize the Chief of Staff and Head of the Public Service in discharging his mandate including but not limited to:

Delivery of key flagship projects, Performance Contracting, managing the coordination of the President’s fiscal priorities in liaison with National Treasury and effective oversight of State Corporations.

Mr Waita’s appointment is in line with the President’s commitment to strengthen the capacity and responsiveness of the Executive Office of the President.
