ODM to celebrate 10th anniversary

By Simon Acholla

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) is set for what it calls a major announcement on 10th of October to launch the face of the party.

In a move likely to be seen as one aimed at countering the launch of the Jubilee Alliance party in Nairobi, Orange party luminaries are set to converge in Mombasa to celebrate ten years since its inception.

All elected leaders through the party ticket and those aspiring to gun for various seats in the 2017 poll are expected to attend.

ODM leader, Raila Odinga, and his lieutenants have however questioned the source of the lavishness exhibited by the yet to launched Jubilee Party.

Speaking in Kakamega county as his five day tour of the region entered day three,  Raila called on the locals to remain steadfast in ODM as it remains the only party that will lead the country to what he says is the Promised Land.

He continues with his tour of the county tomorrow before winding up on Friday.
