Pastoralists appeal for livestock off take program

Pastoralists are calling on the national government to roll out the livestock off take program as drought bites in parts of the country. Leaders from the Amaya Triangle counties comprising Laikipia, Samburu, Baringo and Isiolo have vowed to lobby parliament to allocate funds for veterinary service that is key in the success of the offtake program. The four counties have rolled out a joint coordination program on disease control.
