The 10,000 police recruits who were shortlisted after the countrywide recruitment exercise have been directed to pick their joining letters from their local Officers Commanding Police Division (OCPDs) or DAPCs and report to their designated colleges by Friday next week.

In a statement, Inspector General of Police, Joseph Boinnet, indicated that the verification process was over and the documents were ready for collection free of charge.

“The documents will be available to them on production of their original ID cards as well as the signed acknowledgement sheets.”

“Kindly note that these documents will be issued free of charge and no fees whatsoever are chargeable.” He added

Boinnet cautioned the recruits against paying any fee for the documents, adding that only original Identity Cards and signed acknowledgement sheets would be required.

The recruitment exercise was carried out countrywide on 4th of this month.

“All recruits will be expected to report to their designated colleges on 29th April 2016.”
