Poll: President Kenyatta most preferred candidate

President Uhuru Kenyatta remains the man to beat should elections be held today.

The latest opinion poll released by the Centre for African Progress has placed President Uhuru Kenyatta’s popularity at 49 percent while CORD leader Raila Odinga is second with 42 percent.

In Nairobi County, the gubernatorial race remains tight between Senator Mike Sonko and incumbent Governor, Dr. Evans Kidero with Sonko commanding 34 percent  while Kidero is at 24 percent.

The survey was conducted among 4,700 respondents across the 47 counties.
