Poor health service delivery irks Isiolo County residents

By KBC Reporter

Lack of medicines at the Isiolo County Referral Hospital together with a shortage of blood and equipment has got residents on edge.

And to register their displeasure, the residents met to ventilate on the state of affairs,

Daudi Tari lamented that access to the necessary health care services has become a pipe dream for many residents a matter he said has led to the death of a dozen women during childbirth.

He called on the Isiolo County government to budget properly and ensure that health services are given to those who need them in good time.

The residents claim the members of county assembly are not doing their watchdog role and have left the area residents to their means.

Health services are some of the services that were devolved to allow County governments aid in ensuring a healthy nation.
