They called on the National Transport Safety Authority to erect road bumps along the road as a preventive measure.

The Sunday evening accident left at least four people dead after a lorry reportedly lost control and rammed to oncoming vehicles in Ndenderu area of Kiambaa sub-County.

Led by their Member of Parliament Paul Koinange and Kiambu Women Representative Anna Nyokabi , the locals also held the service to ‘ cleanse’ the accident spot for prayers and to pay tribute to the deceased.

Koinange said the poor state of the road makes it a menace to motorists and advised road users to exercise caution.
