Samsung seeks to grow brand interaction across the country

Samsung Electronics East Africa is aiming to improve the customer experience and better brand interaction among consumers outside Nairobi County, with the opening of Samsung Experience Stores across Kenya.

Simon Kariithi, the Samsung Electronics Internet and Mobile Business Leader for East Africa, said this move would ensure that more consumers across the country are able to enjoy a brand experience similar to the Nairobi consumers.

According to a recent survey by Cytonn Investment dubbed, “An Investor’s Perspective on Kenya’s Retail Sector” shows that mall developers are focusing on the Nairobi satellite towns and other counties due to an increased supply of mall space in Nairobi County.

Residents of Rift region are set to benefit from this, with the first Samsung Experience Store opening at Nakuru’s West Side Mall.

“This is our 22nd experience store, but the first in the Rift region. This experience store provides us with an opportunity to showcase how technology can be integrated to offer daily personal and business solutions using Samsung devices,” added Mr. Kariithi.

“Nothing is more dynamic in this market than the customer preferences. We will keep on ensuring that our experience stores are not just stores that stock our products, but a place where we demonstrate how technology can transform lives and businesses. It is important to note that as Samsung, our key focus is ensuring that customer satisfaction is the hallmark of all our channels, which will be enhanced by great offers every month on devices” added Mr. Kariithi.

Samsung Electronics is focusing on adding more retail hubs nationwide to expand its current footprint, thus create more convenient buying experiences for all consumers.
