By Emily Kenik

The government Tuesday kick started the first phase of the laptops project in an initiative that saw several schools around the country kitted with laptops.

The 2nd term of school coincided with the launch of the first phase of the laptops project dubbed the Digital Literacy Program that has seen 438 laptops delivered to four schools in Trans-Nzoia County.

According to Local education director Joseph Wamocho the laptops will continue to be delivered throughout various schools in the country.

Several school heads and Parents lauded the government for the roll out of the project even as they made last minute preparations ahead of 2nd term that got underway Tuesday.
