Senate speaker summons Petroleum and Energy CSs over high fuel prices

Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka has summoned Petroleum Cabinet Secretary John Munyes and his Energy counterpart Charles Keter to appear before senators on Tuesday next week to explain the high fuel prices. In directive, Lusaka said the two cabinet secretaries have to appear in person to field questions from all senators. This comes hours after the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority increased fuel prices to record highs that has been criticized by the public.
