Kariobangi Sharks trounced defending Champions Tusker FC 3-0 in an entertaining FKF premier league match played at Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi.
Felix Oluoch opened the scoring for Kariobangi sharks in the 65th minute. Sydney Lokale doubled the lead eleven minutes later.
Patrick Otieno scored the third goal in the 80th minute to hand Sharks maximum points. The win catapulted Sharks to second position a points adrift of leaders Gor Mahia who sit top on 14 points.
Defending champions Tusker who have now lost three games in five matches lie 11th with six points.
Tusker Fc attributed the loss to lack of sharpness in the second half despite dominating the first half in which they restricted their opponents to just one shot at goal.
‘’We have lost ,we did not play well in the second half, we were not settled in the first half ,we gave away easy goals’’,remarked Matano .

In Kakamega, hosts Kakamega Homeboyz were held to a 1-1 draw by visiting Bandari Fc in an incident filled encounter at Bukhungu Stadium.
Benjamin Mosha fired the Dockers into a first half lead. Homeboyz pulled level in 63rd minute through substitute Brian Eshihanda.
The top-flight is set to take a break after this weekend’s matches to allow the National team, Harambee Stars, prepare for their two remaining 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Uganda and Rwanda on November 11 and November 15th respectively.
