Sofapaka FC announce the signing of Ugandan quartet

Former Kenyan Premier League champions Sofapaka FC have signed five new players from Uganda to boost the squad ahead of the 2019/20 KPL season.

The five players are; goalkeeper Jimmy Kanakulya from Bright Stars, midfielder Mohammed Kasirye from Paidha Black Angels, Allan Katwe from Nkumba University, striker Peter Luwasa from URA and defender Musa Malunda from Bul FC.

The five will add on to the local steel already settled in at the club including midfielder Cersidy Okeyo, Brian Nyakan, Timonah Wanyonyi and Philip Muchuma.

Sofapaka finished third on the table last season with 62 points, two behind second placed Bandari and ten points behind champions Gor Mahia.
