Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe made has unveiled a new CT Scan facility at the Kenyatta National Hospital.
The 24 hour facility will serve counties across the country for faster translation of CT Scan images.
The CS said the facility which is the first to be launched in Africa is a perfect example of incorporation of technology in healthcare.
Speaking during the launch of the CT Scan center at Kenyatta National Hospital, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe noted that with technology, instead of sending a radiology to different counties images be interpreted at the facility.
The center will also be used for training.
Speaking at the same function Kenyatta National Hospital CEO Dr Kamuri said that they are determined to make sure that all Kenyans get the best healthcare.
