The Anzisha show’s on a quest to discover African entrepreneurs

If young African entrepreneurs don’t dictate their future, who else will?

Happening each week on YouTube is a documentary series called ‘The Quest’. The show seeks to discover and validate young African entrepreneurs on the continent; a product of the Anzisha Prize Program. The Anzisha Program is a partnership between African Leadership Academy and Mastercard Foundation that seeks to fundamentally and significantly increase the number of job-generative entrepreneurs in Africa.

Each episode of the quest follows the hosts, Didi and Mfundo as they try and understand what makes these innovative youth tick and  gives them an opportunity to join a fellowship program. The fellowship services these entrepreneurs by giving them prizes, programs, resources that will support their entrepreneurship to be viable career choices.

So far, The Quest has explored Southern Africa (Malawi, Namibia and South Africa), and West Africa (Sierra Leone, Nigeria and Cameroon). Two more episodes are expected to air in the coming weeks and East Africa is expected to be featured.

Access to The Quest will show you where these entrepreneurs started and why they were selected for the Anzisha Prize.
