The National Football League (NFL) has announced that The Weeknd will perform at the Super Bowl half-time show set for 2021. The Super Bowl is an annual championship game of the NFL and is played on the first Sunday of February since 2004.

The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, is a three-time Grammy award winner and is considered one of the biggest music stars of the past decade.
He will follow in the footsteps of Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez and many more who have all delivered showstopping performances.
The singer’s recent album After Hours is his fourth studio album and among the contenders at the Grammys come 2021.
