Three people have been arrested following an anti-narcotics operation carried out by officers from the National Police Service in Kasarani, Nairobi on Monday, June 9, 2025.
During the intelligence-led raid, officers recovered 50kg of cannabis sativa, 810 rolls of bhang, and 30 hash-infused cookies believed to be destined for illegal distribution across city estates.
Police say the suspects are in custody pending arraignment, while the seized drugs have been secured as exhibits.
In a statement, the NPS reiterated its resolve to dismantle drug trafficking networks.
“National Police Service remains steadfast in its commitment to dismantle drug networks through sustained, intelligence-led operations and collaboration with the public to safeguard communities from the harmful effects of drug abuse and trafficking,” the NPS stated.
