Tony Chege overcame a strong field of 177 golfers to emerge victorious during this year’s Karen Country Club Nite sponsored by KCB Bank Kenya.
He carded 42 points sinking a birdie on the par 5 hole 2. Chege carded 21 points in the first nine same as Rhoda Mwebesa, Muturi Muthoni, White Caro and Van Luijk Christa posted similar results on the first nine.
“I am very much grateful to KCB for sponsoring us today, I worked hard for this victory and I am grateful that things went according to the plan” said Chege.
KCB Group Director Regional Business Mr. Paul Russo feted the golfers in a colorful ceremony on 14th February 2019.

Peter Munyiri carded42points to be crowned the runner up while Rose Mary Mkok emerged 3rd. Mkok carded 41 points to be crowned the lady winner. Caro White and Sarah Otolo won the best 1st and 2nd nine.
Thursday’s results saw Martin Kiambi crowned the guest winner after carding 30 points.
Attention now turns to the 2019 KCB Road to the Masters with the first leg slated to take place during the weekend of 23rd of February 2019, at the Sigona Golf Club.
