Top Scorer Aswani leaves Ingwe

By KBC SportsDesk

AFC Leopards have parted ways with their last season top scorer Kepha Aswani.

The club confirmed on Thursday that they have let the player go after a mutual agreement.

Aswani was the club’s top scorer last season after scoring 12 league goals. But he missed a number of matches towards the end of the league owing to disciplinary issues.

As Aswani leaves, the club confirmed five new signings. They include three defenders, Dennis Sikhayi, Marcus Abwao and Mike Kibwage.

The others are striker Vincent Ouma and Ibrahim Elias Mao. Furthermore, the club also revealed they have agreed personal terms with a number of players and are just waiting for them to be released by their clubs.

Leopards who finished a disappointing 13th place last season will be seeking to do better this time round.
