Transport in Enosai Narok North has been paralyzed following the heavy downpour which has swept away a bridge connecting Narok town and Enosai.

Locals are now appealing to the relevant authority to help reconstruct the bridge saying if the area is hit by the Coronavirus pandemic it will be hard to access any medical facilities.

Enosai area has been cut off from Narok town after heavy rains swept off a bridge that has been the lifeline of the area.

Locals now lament that movement in the area has been curtailed since they depend on the bridge for their daily livelihoods.

They claim that their farm produce which has been harvested will go to waste and they will incur losses.

They either expressed fear that they may not be able to access health facilities for medication.

The rains have also not spared Northern and Southern Teso sweeping away roads, farms and even buildings.

Locals have threatened to hold demonstrations to protest the delay in the completion of the ongoing tarmacking of Malaba Busia highway.
