Tribal Chic 2019 returns to the runway this weekend

Kenya’s most exclusive annual fashion show, Tribal Chic returns this weekend.

Tribal Chic 2019 will be the 10th annual fashion show and what a wonderful way to close the decade. The prestigious Tribe Hotel continues to be home to this annual showcase gala. The show is aimed at recognising and appreciating fashion both locally and internationally, and even merging the two. Established designers that have previously showcased at the Tribal Chic include; Masaba Gupta, Lilabare, Penny Winter, Mille Collines, Nike Kondakis, Mateene Kahindo, Katungulu Mwendwa, Lalesso, Deepa Dosaja (just to name a few).

The annual show has grown tremendously over the years receiving a great amount of both local and international press and recognition. Not only that but they have partnered with international business and talent organizations; Gen Art and FA254.

This year, all funds from Tribal Chic 2019 are in aid of Rafiki Mwema, a Kenyan children’s home.
