Tusker FC coach Sam Ssimbwa sacked

Kenyan Premier League side Tusker Football Club is reported to have sacked head coach Sam Ssimbwa, following a series of poor results in the premier league games.

This is after the Brewers went three consecutive games without a win after losing 3-1 to Zoo Kericho last Saturday prior to a 1-0 loss to Mathare United and a barren draw against Vihiga United.

Ssimbwa is the third KPL coach to be shown the door this season after Robert Matano of AFC Leopards and Sam Timbe of Sofapaka.

Reports indicate that the club has done away with Ssimbwa and his assistant Francis Baraza and will unveil a new coach Tuesday.

Former AFC Leopards, Sofapaka and Ulinzi Stars head Coach, Robert Matano, is set to take the mantle in the club for his second time in less than five year.

Tusker is in the 15th position on the log table with ten points after playing eleven league games so far.

It has won two matches, drawn four and lost five matches. Tusker will next have a date with Wazito FC this Wednesday at Camp Toyoyo grounds in Nairobi.
