The Directorate of Criminal Investigations officers have arrested two more Police Officers in connection with the robbery at Olenguruone, Nakuru County.
This brings the number of the arrested police officers to four and seven civilians following a robbery at a private home last week.
During the robbery, one of the officers dropped his pistol magazine which had 15 bullets.
The magazine led to the arrest of two other officers. According to police, the ammunition matched the gun assigned to one of the officers.
The Nakuru DCI officers are still pursuing more suspects in connection with the robbery.
There have been claims of police involvement in armed robberies in some parts of the country and the arrests is a major step in controlling the menace.
