President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent a message of condolence to the families of the students of St Mary’s Nyamagwa Girls Secondary School who died in a road accident in Kisii County on Friday.

President Kenyatta said the accident has robbed the country of young talents that would have made significant contribution to the country’s development.

“Their death is a big loss to their close family, relatives and friends as well as the nation at large,” President Kenyatta said.

He urged road users, particularly drivers, to drive carefully and exercise maximum caution to avoid accidents and loss of lives.

The President wished quick recovery to those who were injured in the accident and are admitted in hospital.

He prayed to God to give the bereaved families the strength and grace to bear the tragic loss.
