Ulinzi beat Nzoia 1-0, moves to 8th place on KPL standings

Ulinzi Stars have moved up to 8th position on the Kenyan Premier League table after narrowly beating Nzoia United 1-0 on Monday at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru.

Ulinzi Stars netted the lone goal in the 86th minute of the match that looked destined to end in a barren draw.

KCB also moved above Nzoia United into 11th position after beating bottom side Mt Kenya United 2-0 in Machakos.

Five more matches will be played on Wednesday.

Sofapaka play Western Stima, Mathare face Kariobangi Sharks, Vihiga United host Bandari, holders Gor Mahia visit Chemelil while AFC Leopards meet Zoo Kericho.

Gor Mahia are still leading the way on 60 points, seven points above Sofapaka.
