Gor Mahia have condemned Ulinzi Stars striker Stephen Waruru for provoking their fans after his late equalizer that ensured the two league giants shared a point a piece in a hotly contested match at the Moi Stadium, Kisumu Sunday.

2015 Sportpesa Premier League champions Gor Mahia missed out on the opportunity of opening up a two point lead at the top of the league standings after being held to a 2 – 2 draw by 3rd placed Ulinzi Stars at the Moi Stadium.

The match turned chaotic after Stephen Waruru equalized for Ulinzi, with the latter being blamed by K’Ogallo for his tendentious celebrations, that allegedly gave rise to violent scenes among Gor fans.

Meanwhile, Kariobangi Sharks’ win over 12th placed AFC Leopards sees them climb to the 5th position, a point behind Posta Rangers, who played out to a one all draw against Chemelil Sugar who sit 10th.

Sofapaka’s loss against 9th place Nakumatt leaves them 6th on the log, a point ahead of Bandari and Kakamega Homeboyz who are level on points, after victories over Tusker FC and Sony Sugar respectively.

Nzoia Sugar’s barren draw against Thika United who sit 16th on the table, leaves them in the 11th position.

Zoo FC is 14th after being held to a goalless draw by Mathare United, a point ahead of Muhoroni Youth, who added more misery to bottom placed Western Stima after a 2-1 victory on Saturday.
