Vihiga Queens, CBE FC to battle it out in CAF Women Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers

Vihiga Queens, CBE FC are set to battle it out in the CAF Women Champions League CECAFA qualifiers, after beating Simba Queens and Lady Doves 2-1 and 1(4)-1(3) respectively in their semi-final matches played on Monday, September 6, 2021, at the Nyayo National Stadium.

The two will be in action on Thursday, September 9, 2021, in the finals, set to be played at the Nyayo National Stadium.

Simba Queens will be up against Lady Doves in the third and fourth place playoff at 1 pm, before paving way for the final match pitting Kenya’s representatives Vihiga Queens against Ethiopian-based side CBE FC.

The winner of this inaugural competition gets a chance to represent the CECAFA region in the first-ever CAF Women Champions League, to be hosted in Egypt later this year.
