Volleyball: Kenya and Morocco beach Olympic opponents confirmed

 

The national women’s beach volleyball team has been drawn in group D of the forthcoming Olympic Games following the draw conducted Monday in Japan.

The Kenyan duo of Gaudencia Makokha and Brackcides Khadambi were drawn in Pool D alongside Ana Patricia/Rebecca (Brazil), Clases/Sponcil (USA) and Kravcenoka/ Graudina (Latvia).

Africa’s men’s representatives   Morocco is in pool E of the men’s competition.

Morocco’s Zouheir El Graoui and Mohamed Abicha will face off with Fijalek/Bryl (Poland), Evandro/Bruno Schmidt (Brazil), Grimalt M./Grimalt E. (Chile).

 

Morocco will represent africa in the men’s competition at the Olympics.

 

A total of 24 teams which qualified for the Tokyo games are divided in six pools of four teams a piece fighting for the Olympic title between July 24th –August 7th 2021.

Kenya will represent Africa in the women’s category, while Morocco will play in the men’s tournament, after both emerged CAVB Continental Cup in Agadir, Morocco  last month.
