Volleyball seminar to boost coaches’ knowledge begins in Nairobi

 

Twenty eight top Kenyan volleyball coaches begun a four day seminar which aims to boost their knowledge and equip them with the latest training techniques.

 

The seminar has drawn a total of 28 participants mainly coaches with national league sides and from the national team.

The 28 participants are drawn from national volleyball league teams.

The seminar, being held at the Nyayo national stadium, is being conducted by FIVB level three coach Godfrey Owese. The coaches commission, the Kenya Volleyball Federation and the Kenya Academy of Sports have organized the high performance seminar.

 

The seminar is being conducted by Godfrey Owese, an FIVB level three coach, trained in Japan, and who has a vast experience in coaching overseas and who is also a lecturer at Manila University in Philippines.

 

The 4 day seminar opened by KVF 1st vice president Charles Nyaberi culminates on 8th July.
