The Afrobloggers awards promotes emerging African voices.

Afrobloggers is a virtual hub where the world meets African bloggers. It is also a platform for African bloggers to connect, engage, inspire and learn from each other in an inclusive environment where every story matters. They host an annual Afrobloggers awards ceremony every year in which the public can vote for their preferred bloggers.

The categories are: Video blogs, Tourism & Culture, Wellness, Tech & Science, Social commentary, Personal blog, Finance & Business, Creative writing, entertainment, Fresh voice, Pdcast, Lifestyle, Food & drink, and Education & Activism.

SOme of the Kenyan blogs that are up for winning include Juuchini, Mumbi Macharia, Leo Tunapika, and Writer’s Haven.

Voting closes on the 5th of February and after that, the judges determine the winners. Here is the voting link.
