Wa Iria unveils Alfayo Onyambu as his running mate for August election

Murang’a Governor Mwangi Wa Iria has nominated Alfayo Onyambu as his running ahead of the Monday May 16th deadline.

The Usawa kwa Wote party leader and presidential aspirant says together with Onyambu, they will traverse the Country to popularise his bid ahead of the August 9th general election.

Onyambu is a Kisii politician who vied for the Senatorial seat in the 2017 on a Jubilee Party ticket but lost to Sam Ongeri.

Wa Iria maintains he will be on the ballot in August, ruling out any possibility of forming a pre election coalitin with Kenya Kwanza or Azimio.

He says Mt Kenya has enough votes to propel him to the highest office in the land after serving two terms as Governor.

Kenya Kwanza Presidential aspirant Deputy President William Ruto will unveil his running mate later today while his Azimio counterpart Raila Odinga is expected to unveil his running mate tomorrow 15th May.
