Willy Paul drops new single despite leak

“Heartbreak” features Jamaican singer and songwriter Alaine.

Kenyan musician Willy Paul has teamed up with Jamaican-American singer and songwriter Alaine for his new single “Heartbreak.” This is the second time the gospel turned secular artist has collaborated with Alaine. Their last collaboration was about 4 years ago on the song “I do” which currently boasts 24 million views.

However, Willy Paul claims this song was not scheduled for release and that his account was hacked. Posting a statement on his social media he wrote, “…I repeat this song leaked, my youtube account was hacked at 2 am and that’s why we’re releasing it.” (SIC)

This new song comes 5 days after he released his new song”Lenga” featuring gospel artist Size 8.

“Heartbreak” comes with an amazing video that shows a couple going through a rough time in their marriage. The video was shot and directed by Chastity Corset and was released under Willy Paul’s record label Saldido International.

The song is currently available to stream on YouTube.
