The East African Breweries Limited has announced the resignation of its Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director Risper Ohaga effective June 30, 2026.
Ohaga joined the firm in February 2020 as CFO and Executive Member of the Board of Directors steering the firm through the Covid-19 pandemic.
“She has been instrumental in driving performance, strengthening controls and governance, building talent and deepening investor relations,” said the firm in a statement.
The move comes as the High Court cleared EABL to proceed with the Asahi transaction uninterrupted where the later plans to acquire entire stake held by Diageo Plc in the brewer for $2.3 billion.
