Payments for Affordable Housing Program migrated to Paybill number 222222

Payments for the Affordable Housing Program have been migrated to Safaricom Paybill number 222222 from Paybill no. 005500.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development the move is in line with President William Ruto’s directive to onboard government services to a single digit payment platform as communicated in Gazette Vol.CXXIV-No. 287 Gazette Notice No. 16008.

For direct to paybill savings, applicable account number will be BOMA followed by the member’s ID number e.g (Paybill No. 222222, Account No. 123456.)
