Chris Diaz commits to push Public Private Investments in new Adili appointment

ALN Kenya and ALN Tanzania and Adili Group have announced the appointment of Chris Diaz as Executive Chairman of Adili Group and Director of Growth and New Markets for the Firms. 

His appointment signifies a strategic move aimed at driving pan-African growth and enhancing client impact.

In a statement, Adili Group says Chris brings a wealth of expertise to the role with over 30 years of executive experience, particularly in business growth strategies across Africa, Europe, and the MENA region.

With an extensive background in business growth strategies and leadership across Africa, Europe and the MENA region, Chris has delivered substantial commercial results and spearheaded transformations for leading organisations including Bidco Africa, where he served on the Board for 16 years, and Kenya Airways, where he led as Marketing Director and also worked closely with the SkyTeam alliance.” Read the statement.

The appointment is a strategic step towards enhancing the delivery of integrated and relevant client services across multiple business lines, as the Firms and Adili Group continue to build on their successes.

According to the statement, Chris’ expertise in business leadership, market planning, and growth initiatives will be instrumental in helping clients navigate an increasingly complex business environment across borders with agility and efficiency. 

His deep understanding of international marketing and business dynamics in Africa establishes him as an experienced leader in innovation, growth, and market leadership, accelerating the strategic vision of the Firms and Adili Group.

Chris will also play a pivotal role in supporting the growth and business strategy for clients across Africa and the MENA region, leveraging the pan-African ALN alliance (currently in 14 countries) and its regional gateway office in the UAE.

As Executive Chairman of Adili Group, Chris is expected to draw on his wealth of experience to provide clients with the insights and solutions needed to tackle today’s corporate challenges, including in managing business risks and disruptions.

Chris Diaz holds a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting, and a Master of Science in International Marketing from the United Kingdom (UK) and is a Fellow and holds a chartered status, of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). Chris has held the position of Board Member at Bidco Africa for 16 years and served as Marketing Director at Kenya Airways, where he worked with the SkyTeam alliance. 

He has also contributed to the boards of Brand Kenya and Kenya Airports Authority.

Chris has served as a Trustee of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in the UK and holds certification as a coach from GE’s Crotonville school, New York. He has received numerous global recognitions and accolades for his impact.
