Preparations for the 8th edition of the annual Sahihi Swara Green run are complete ahead of the race set to be held at Gatatha farm in Kiambu County.

The run which blends fitness, community, and environmental conservation will be flagged off at Cianda High School.

Bingwa Homes Chief Executive Officer Njihia Njoroge is set to flag off the event whose proceeds will be channeled towards funding of university education grants for bright and underprivileged students, food security initiatives through permaculture training, and the conservation and planting of fruit trees around the Sitatunga wetlands ecosystem.

Now in its eighth year, the Sahihi Swara Green Run  continues to grow as a beacon of hope, merging environmental stewardship with youth empowerment and sustainable agriculture.

Participants will not only enjoy the scenic beauty of Kiambu’s highlands but also contribute to causes that promote long-term community resilience.
