Keemlyf will release his third single of the year, “Inside” on Friday, September 12, featuring Savara.
The single comes on the heels of Keemlyf’s previous release, “On The Low”, and Savara’s monumental feat of headlining the CHAN Championship Halftime show in Nairobi.
In their collaboration, Keemlyf and Savara wrestle with the emotions of being aroused by a woman both intimately and emotionally.
Produced by JazBeats, the record flirts with Afrobeats rhythms and Kompa melodies, while Keem’s and Savara’s voices combine effortlessly to croon over the buttery sound of the record.
“Inside” is really a story about that one girl who just gets into your head and into your life. You meet her and instantly you know you want more than just a moment, you want something real, even if you’re torn between that bad boy energy and the good boy side of you. It’s about that tension, that fire, and the vulnerability that comes with letting someone in,” Keemlyf says.
Speaking about working together, Savara enthusiastically crowns Keem “a master.”
“I really gravitate towards people who love music, and Keem is exactly that. He is a master with melodies, and I crown myself a melody king. He is a prince and I accept him in that fashion. The song is really amazing, and he puts in the work”, Savara said.
