King Mohammed VI of Morocco, who is also the Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, has ordered the dispatch of emergency humanitarian and medical aid to the Palestinian people, particularly the populations of the Gaza Strip, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates in a statement on Wednesday.
The support, totalling nearly 180 tonnes, consists of basic foodstuffs, milk, and children’s products, as well as medicines and surgical equipment for the most vulnerable populations. It also includes blankets, suitable tents, and other equipment.
The aid will be transported via a specially arranged route, allowing for rapid and direct delivery to Palestinian beneficiaries.
This humanitarian aid is part of the concrete solidarity that continuously drives the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as the unwavering commitment of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, to the Palestinian cause and its brotherly people, the statement concluded.
