Ghanaian pop star King Promise (Gregory Promise Bortey Newman) and Afropop innovator Mr Eazi (Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade) reunite on “See What We’ve Done” – out Friday via Empawa Africa and streaming on all digital platforms.

Riding on addictive log drum patterns and melodies, King Promise and Mr Eazi showcase their triumphs with effortless confidence, while distancing themselves from negativity.

Produced by Gideonite (Stonebwoy, Gyakie, Kelvyn Boy) and GuiltyBeatz (Tems, Beyoncé, Mr Eazi), the track is a stylish celebration of success and good living.

Ahead of the release, Mr Eazi shared, “See What We’ve Done is us toasting to the journey, the struggles, the prayers, and now the blessings. It’s about living well, staying focused and celebrating wins with the people who matter most.”

King Promise emphasised that every time he and Eazi link up, the connection feels effortless. He said, “This one is about confidence, joy and gratitude and letting the world know we’ve put in the work and now it’s time to enjoy the moment.”

The accompanying music video, directed by Andre Ladon (US) and filmed in Iceland, captures a rare and intimate glimpse into Mr Eazi’s wedding while doubling as a jubilant display of friendship, love and victory.

Rather than staging moments, the camera lingers in real time, capturing the raw beauty of events as they happen. This approach transforms intimate details into a visually effortless narrative, allowing each frame to tell its own story while preserving the authenticity of the celebration.

This is not the first time the duo has come together; previous collaborations like “Baby, I’m Jealous”, “Call Waiting” and “Dabebi” have connected strongly with fans and enjoyed wide success across Africa and beyond. “See What We’ve Done” builds on that legacy, showing the natural chemistry between two of Afropop’s most distinctive voices.

For King Promise, “See What We’ve Done” marks his first release of 2025, opening a fresh chapter in his run of hits. Similarly for Mr Eazi, it continues a landmark year of music, underscoring his ability to merge personal storytelling with innovative Afropop expression.
