President William Ruto has shared a message of hope, love, and unity with Kenyans as they prepare to celebrate Easter.
In a recorded message shared on social media on Good Friday, an important day in the Christian calendar that commemorates the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ ahead of Easter Sunday, the President extended his best wishes to the nation.
Ruto encouraged Kenyans to keep hope and faith alive, even during difficult times, noting that every trial is followed by overcoming.
“As we remember the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, may this season remind us that in every trial there is a resurrection and a new beginning”, he said, as he wished families joy and peace during this Easter season.
“ To every family, may the spirit of Easter bring joy and peace, and to every weary heart, may it bring hope and renewed faith. And to our beloved nation, Kenya, may it bring strength of unity and love. God bless our families, God bless Kenya”. He said.
