Traffic flow along the Nairobi Southern Bypass (Ole Sereni bound) has been restored.

A section of road was temporarily closed on Friday, April 24, 2026, following an early morning road accident near the Dagoretti area.

However, road users are advised to exercise caution, adhere to posted traffic signs, and follow directions issued by traffic police on site.

“The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) wishes to inform motorists and the public that traffic flow along the Nairobi Southern Bypass (Ole Sereni bound) has been restored following an accident that occurred earlier in the day.  Motorists have now resumed normal travel along this section. However, road users are advised to exercise caution, adhere to posted traffic signs, and follow directions issued by traffic police on site as traffic flow stabilises”, the authority notified.

“KeNHA appreciates the cooperation, patience, and understanding demonstrated by motorists and road users during the emergency response period”, it added.
