Churchill’s brainchild, the Chacho Kidz Experience 2025, officially kicked off with a vibrant launch and partners’ Breakfast at Weston Hotel, Nairobi, bringing together partners, stakeholders, and friends of the initiative.

This year’s edition will feature a dedicated Teens Hangout area, introducing exciting activities such as motor shows to broaden the event’s appeal across different age groups.

Held under the theme “Mountain of Love,” the breakfast marked the beginning of preparations for the flagship event set for November 8. The festival is expected to unite children, families, and communities for a full day of creativity, fun, and inspiration.

Speaking during the launch, Founder and director Dan Ndambuki, popularly known as Churchill, emphasised that the goal of Chacho Kidz goes far beyond entertainment.

“It aims to build a strong community and shape the future by nurturing children to become independent thinkers and global change-makers,” he said. “A core element of this vision is the telling of the African story through the creation of original, positive, and wholesome content that nurtures children and is fit for global audiences.”

In his parting remarks, Churchill added, “Everyone is here and the future is now!”

His message was reinforced by Ken Waudo, a partner in the initiative, who stressed the responsibility of creating value-driven content in the digital age.

“Children are 100% of our future,” he said. “We are living in an era where children are exposed to more information and misinformation than ever before. It is our responsibility as content creators to provide them with a foundation of truthful, well-researched, and empowering material.”
